We are home!!!

The new Atkins' family arrived home Friday afternoon! Aubrey is extremely strong as she holds her head up when she is being burped and can already scoot across her crib. She has a mild case of Jaundice and is laying on a billiruben pad for a day or so, but is doing very well. She only woke up once last night to eat - Lets pray that continues! God has truly blessed us with an amazing child. Enjoy the pictures below... (After 5 days in the hospital, Ken looks the same as 5 days of deer hunting!!!)

How Aubrey arrived:
I went for an ultrasound Monday morning at the doctors office to make sure the fluid level around the baby was still good as I was almost 40 weeks. The ultrasound showed that I did not have enough fluid to keep going. I was immediately admitted in the hospital and set up on monitors for the day until we could begin the induction. They started the induction around midnight and broke my water early Tuesday morning. I took the epidural around lunch, but stopped progressing through the afternoon. We decided to do the section around 5pm Tuesday and Aubrey was in the world by 6pm.
