Little Miss Michievious goes Easter Egg Hunting
Yesterday was Aubrey's inaugural Easter Egg Hunt since she could walk. Ken and I went to her daycare to watch her and found out that some parents had actually practiced hunting eggs. We thought to ourselves "should we have practiced with her?". But she was a pro! She ran out to the playground screaming with excitement and filled her basket with eggs. I was so proud. She got her first "Ring Pop" and the results are below. She got quiet and when I went looking for her, she had climbed up on this table to enjoy the Ring Pop.
Her second Easter Egg Hunt was at CITGO park today. It didn't go as well due to the fear of the Easter Bunny. The closer we got to the Easter Bunny, the tighter her hand clasped mine. When it was our turn to see him, she began crying and kicking and screaming. She almost didn't hunt for the eggs because the Easter Bunny was within 100 feet of her, but we managed to get 5 eggs before it was over. Now that we are home away from the Easter Bunny, she has rehid the 5 eggs about 100 times and refilled her basket with them. Happy Easter!
